Ski stadion Kotelnica Białaczańska

The most popular ski station in Poland. The slopes are ideal for beginning skiiers as well as for more advanced ones. There is a ski school on the spot as well as one of the biggest Snowparks, regional restaurants, cross country skiing tracks and all that with spectacular views. In summer they offer their ski lifts for scenic rides and there is a playground for children located at the top of one of the lifts.

The Białka Canyon reserve

The Białka Canyon natural reserve is magical  place you must visit nearby the Leśny Dworek. The Białka river cuts through between two rocky outcrops – Obłazowa and Kramnica and forms a picturesque canyon. Walking paths and natural wonders make it a favourite place for those who like to be close to nature and spend time near water. You must visit Obłazowa cave where the oldest extant boomerang in the world has been discovered together with hundreds of traces of early humans and prehistoric animals. Turbacz and the Gorce Mountains

Are you collecting the highest peaks of Poland? You cannot miss Turbacz – the highest mountain in the Gorce and part of the “crown of Poland”. Leśny Dworek is a good starting point for the Gorce and Turbacz with its chalet near the top. Interesting and easily accessible trails start in Łopuszna and Nowy Targ not far from Gronków. This full day trip guarantees phenomenal views and close contact with the unspoilt nature of the Gorce. But Turbacz is not the only mountain there, you can also walk to Gorc, Lubań or Stare Wierchy. There is a myriad of options and choices in the Gorce mountains.

Three Crowns and the Pieniny Mountains

The Pieniny are some of the most beautiful and interesting mountain ranges  in the world. And there is no exaggeration in that. Within a rather small area you will find an exceptional variety of geological forms, unique endemic  nature and cultural heritage of the Pieniny region, not to mention the biggest attraction – a raft float down the Dunajec in the spectacular river canyon. Most tourists make sure to climb Three Crowns (Trzy Korony) – the most scenic although not the highest peak in the Pieniny. It is recommended to walk further on to Sokolica and the Pieniny castle. For those interested in geology Homole Canyon and Wysoka Mt. are of special interest.
